The 26 year old central midfielder swaps the Conference North for the Conference South after relocating “down south”, arriving from a Hereford side that narrowly missed out on the play offs last year. A hard-working but creative midfielder, Babos has been a regular in the Hereford team since signing for the Bulls at the start of the 2022/23 season and a real creative spark for the Bulls in his time in Herefordshire, with 22 goal contributions in his first season at Edgar Street, ending the season as Hereford’s top assister and second in the race for the Bulls golden boot in 2023/24.
Alex started his career at Derby County where he learned his trade and progressed to secure a professional contract in 2016. He was loaned out to Spanish outfit, Real Union, as well as FC United of Manchester, whilst also getting regular game-time for The Rams’ U23 team. The Wales U21 International then went on to play for Alfreton Town, King’s Lynn Town and Banbury United where he featured alongside Connor Roberts in a Southern Prem Central title winning Puritans side in 2021/22
Welcome to the Meadow, Alex!
