We are pleased to announce that our Samson Esan will be staying with the club for the upcoming season, after making 37 appearances last season after stepping up from Step 3. We are delighted that Samson will still be at the Meadow creating magic & goals for us in 2025/26.
The 26 year old attacking midfielder / winger joined the Generals from Southern Premier Central side Royston Town last summer after an impressive season with the Crows under the management of former General Chris Watters. Sammy went on to make 37 appearances, scoring 5 times and registering 6 assists including two long range efforts towards the end of season which included three Man of the Match performances in the final six games.
You can find more info on Samson’s career on his profile page on the new website by clicking here – Samson is the fifth player to commit to the club for the 2025/26 season, joining Connor Stevens, Callum Adebiyi, Alex Lafleur & Nathan Minhas as confirmed Generals.
