The 28 year old attacking midfielder joins from the Saints after two seasons in Hertfordshire where he was a pivotal part of the St Albans midfield. A technically gifted attacking midfielder, Gio was a real spark for the Hertfordshire side, with 24 goal contributions in his debut season at Clarence Park including some fantastic solo goals and showcasing his ability to dictate play from anywhere on the pitch.

Gio started his career in the youth setup at Milton Keynes, progressing through the ranks to make his professional debut as a teenager in the Emirates FA Cup against Cambridge, before his league debut later that season against Stevenage. Loan spells at Oxford United, Oldham & Aldershot followed before leaving in 2018 to sign from Brackley Town and then local rivals Banbury United where he spent 5 seasons with the Puritans, including being a big part of a Southern Prem Central title winning side in 2021/22 alongside fellow new signing Alex Babos and Connor Roberts. Gio spent one year in the National League North with Banbury before crossing South with the Saints in 2023.

Welcome to the Meadow, Gio!
