Biography

The experienced goalkeeper who needed no introduction to supporters at The Meadow as he returned for his third spell at the club last summer for our debut National League South campaign. Ben first signed for the Generals as JD & Muzza’s first signing from Potters Bar Town nearly six years ago and went on to make 62 appearances in his first spell at the club before departing at the end of the curtailed 2020/21 season. Ben returned to the Generals for a one-off game at the end of the 2022/23 season in the play off semifinal defeat at Bracknell Town.

Ben began his career at AFC Hayes, before going on to play Hadley FC and Potters Bar Town, where he first played for JD & Muzza. After his first stint at the Meadow ended in 2021, Ben joined Wingate & Finchley in the Isthmian Premier Division, where he became an ever present between the sticks as well as club captain and then notably scored the equalising goal in added time in a 4-3 win over Bowers & Pitsea.
