Biography

Mr Versatile, Rolfey is in his third spell at the club and is our current longest serving player, Lewis’s long connection to the club and consistent performances have seen him become a fans favourite. He first joined the club with the Youth/Reserves setup in 2010 via the Queens Academy partnership, making a string of substitute appearances before making the move to Hitchin Town, where he became a regular in their starting lineup.

He returned to the Generals during the 2018/19 season under Jon Meakes, before re-joining Hitchin for his second spell at Top Field. Lewis rejoined the club in March 2020 for the third time, and established a regular spot in the side that went on to reach the play offs in 2022/23 and then won the Southern Premier League in 2023/24.
